Questions
How does automatic Story saving work?
You add a public creator once. StoryHideout then checks their profile for new Stories on a schedule and saves the ones it detects to your account, with no tab left open. A Story posted and removed between two checks can't be detected. The automatic TikTok Story Saver page explains it in more detail.
Is StoryHideout free?
Yes. The Free plan lets you monitor a creator with no credit card. Paid plans add more creators, more frequent checks and a longer Story history.
Do I need my TikTok password?
No. StoryHideout only works with public content and never asks for your TikTok login.
How often are creators checked?
It depends on your plan: paid plans are checked more often than Free. Checks run on StoryHideout's side, so they carry on with your phone locked and TikTok closed.
How long are Stories saved?
Saved Stories stay in your Story history for your plan's history window, measured from capture. Anything you save to your Vault stays there until you remove it.
Can I download a single TikTok or Story?
